ACS 1278

ACS 1278 Single Audio Mixer Panel

Designed for demanding audio system requirements, the ACS 1278 offers more features and capabilities than any other Single Audio Mixer Panel available on the market today. The ACS 1278 provides control for up to 13 selectable receive audios and has 11 transmit positions. In addition to PTT and HOT ICS modes, the ACS 1278 also has an additional ICS bus, Private ICS, for secure communications among crew members. When high performance audio and extensive features are needed, the ACS 1278 is the audio panel for the job.

The ACS 1278 is ideal for use in both individual and multi-user installations, and is currently being used extensively in Law Enforcement, EMS, Forestry and Utility applications. As with all Air Comm Audio Panels, the ACS 1278 is approved for use on USFS contracts.

ACS 1278 Custom Configuration

Required Information to order the ACS 1278

The information below must be completed to process your order. Should you have any questions regarding the appearance or functions of the unit, please contact the factory.

1) Receive Audio legends

Fill in the desired legends 1 through 13. The layout shown on the prior page is the factory standard layout. If a vertical layout is desired, please contact the factory. Knob caps and switches can be color coded. Colors available: blue, green, gray, orange, red, yellow, and white. Please note at #5 below if QUICK ADJUST receive audio feature is desired.

2) Transmit legends

Fill in the desired legends 1 through 7. If more positions are desired (up to 11), note and fill in below #’s 1-7 . Please note that the sequence of both Transmit and Receive switches must match. A PA, if used, should be the last selection.

3) ICS Functions

Normal PTT, HOT, and Private ICS are standard. Specify if VOX is desired.
